Tighten up Service
Keeping all your bolts nipped up tight to their engineered specification is important.

This means not over-tightening bolts in ferals or under-tightening rods using residential tools. TMDr team know the importance of keeping all bolts tight and in good working condition.

Even the trapped nuts need to be kept tight and if rusted changed for new and greased.

This is normally an easy job and can save money in the long term. The galvanised/stainless steel nuts are relatively cheap compared to changing the larger bolts or frames or timbers.
You don’t want the timber to elongate when the bolts are not kept nipped.

Visually inspect all piles
Piles are initially checked whether they are concrete Rocla piles, timber, steel painted or HDPE sleeved piles.

A constant monitoring and reporting of minor buildups or cracks are recorded to give an indication of the speed of dilapidation.
3
Check all rubbing blocks or pile guides / brackets are in good condition
Visually inspect all piles
It is important to check all the load transferring brackets and blocks when you are tightening the marina.
It is at this time when TMDr is down close to the working brackets they check for rusting and elongating or cracking.
4
Wear and tear on services
Power, Water, Sewer and Telecommunications services (once installed) need maintenance and monitoring. These services cost a lot to install and fix and, like most things on a marina, if you maintain them they last.
5
Check gangways and all its working parts
It is easy to miss the gangway and all its working parts when you walk on it numerous times a day but, in every programmed tighten up, TMDr conduct a check of the gangway.
